LAFA app is now available in the app store (Search Louisville Academy of Fine Arts)! This new tool will give families quick access to their Parent Portal, schedule absences & make-up classes, and other key resources, all in one place. ​​​

Nutcracker 2026
Don't miss our annual Nutcracker this year at the Ogle Center December 11th, 12th, & 13th. Keep an eye out for our Community Auditions September 12th, 2026. Open to all students in the greater Louisville community ages 5+. Dance experience highly recommended but not required.

Beauty and the Beast, the Ballet
LAFA's Spring Storybook Ballet is Beauty and the Beast! To be apart of our Storybook your child must be enrolled in a ballet class at LAFA. Shows May 6th-9th, 2027.

Welcome to the Louisville Academy of Fine Arts, where artists bloom!
At LAFA, we offer high-quality, accessible arts education in dance, theater, music, visual art, and creative writing for students ages 3–18. Whether your child is just beginning or already dreaming of a career in the arts, our nurturing faculty and inspiring programs help each student grow in skill, confidence, and creativity.
